I’m the Most Boring Person You’ll Ever Meet
I don’t drink. I don’t smoke. I don’t party.
My ideal kind of fun is spending time with my kids at home, watching movies or documentaries, or traveling with them, exploring nature.
I love solitude. I can stay in my room for hours planning, organizing my thoughts, and thinking. I like being alone.
I study whenever I can…
Reading articles, listening to podcasts, or taking online courses. I like to upskill, explore my niche, and learn new things.
I’m curious about a lot of things, and I love to study them whenever I get the chance…
Psychology, biology, neuroscience, archaeology, and recently I started studying business management…
How operations work, how to manage projects effectively, how to manage finance in business, how to understand data, how to build flowcharts and dashboards… and so many other things!
I love to talk to my kids about science, challenge them with puzzles or riddles, and ask about their random theories.
I love writing and reading. I have a lot of unpublished novels, plot ideas, and unfinished outlines. I used to use Scrivener, but now I mostly write in notebooks or on my phone.
I have a really small circle of friends. At this point, you already guessed… I’m an introvert!
I’m low maintenance. You could go months without messaging me, and I won’t take it personally. And I truly appreciate the people who understand that about me.
My social battery is low. My charge time is slow.
But…
I have an extrovert partner. Very extroverted. Most of the time, it’s a disaster. But hey, what’s life without a little contrast?
I know I’m boring.
And I’m okay with that. I’d pick solitude over a party anytime. I’d pick my kids over anything else that people usually call fun. I can’t even imagine traveling without them. Maybe someday. But not now.
My world revolves around my kids, my family, my work, my studies, and… my thoughts.
And when it comes to my career… I’m doing well.
All the "no’s," all the skipped parties, all the quiet, relentless nights hustling… they’re finally paying off.
You don’t have to be loud to be successful.
You don’t have to fit into someone else’s idea of fun to build a meaningful life.
You can be quiet. You can be focused. You can be “boring”. And still win.
